Color Your Way To Magic Prizes
Let’s Celebrate Magic Month…
Your child could win magic tricks, a Discover Magic Funbook or a complete Purple Wand Magic Course!
We’re celebrating National Magic Day (October 31st) by providing area children no-cost opportunities to engage in magical activities throughout the month of October. With many afterschool programs canceled due to the pandemic, we want kids to experience the fun and satisfaction of learning how to amaze their family and friends. Parents can enter their child in a coloring contest for a chance to win a full scholarship for a Discover Magic Purple Wand Magic Course taught by the Learn To Amaze Magic Academy. There will be prizes awarded to every child that participates. Here’s how to do it in five easy steps:
1. Select one of the Colorful Characters below by clicking on the picture and downloading the poster. You’re welcome to download all of them, but please submit only one for the contest.
2. Print the poster and have your child color it using their favorite medium (crayons, markers, colored pencils, watercolor paints, etc.).
3. Register your child using the form to the left making certain to fill out the fields completely.
4. Submit the finished masterpiece digitally by taking a photo or scan and emailing it to [email protected] or sending it by US Postal Mail to David Black Entertainment, 230 Bear Swamp Road, Chenango Forks, NY 13746. All entries must be received by Saturday October 17, 2021.
5. Go to the Learn To Amaze Magic Academy page on Facebook to watch the prize drawing on October 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM.
Coloring Contest Details:
- The grand prize is a full scholarship (valued at $195.00) to a Purple Wand Discover Magic course taught by the Learn To Amaze Magic Academy. Students must be seven or older to be eligible for this prize. The grand prize winner must enroll in a scheduled course by June 30, 2021.
- There will be ten first prizes awarded of a Discover Magic Funbook. Children five and older are eligible for this prize.
- Each entry submitted for a child by the stated deadline will receive a magic trick by mail.
- You must be 18 years or older to submit an entry for the drawing on behalf of a child. Only one entry per child is permitted.
- Enter by completely filling out the form at LearnToAmaze.com/coloring-contest and then submitting one Colorful Character picture by email or postal mail.
- Pictures can be submitted as a jpeg or PDF attachment to [email protected] or sent by US Postal mail to David Black Entertainment, 230 Bear Swamp Road, Chenango Forks, NY 13746.
- All entries, including the colored pictures, must be received by 11:59 PM Saturday October 17, 2020.
- The winners of the grand and first prizes will be selected by a drawing held on Sunday October 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM.

This free workshop is perfect for kids ages 7 and older to get a taste of magic online learning. In this fun and engaging workshop, your child will learn magic tricks that will amaze their friends and family. It gives you as a parent, an idea of what to expect from our full eight session courses. As spots fill very quickly, you will need to register below to secure your child’s spot in the workshop.
